Engineering, as it goes on...

I always wonder what made me to choose engineering when I had so many options after my 12th. But when I look behind from where I stand today makes me feel in joy that I took a correct path when I came across those cross roads. I don't know how can I justify this; but it's an intimate feeling I have deep inside my heart. When I joined engineering I took Information Science and Engineering but I felt, "this is not what I'm born to do". And there started the wonderful journey alongside machines. Since there is only one year left before I qualify to be a Mechanical Engineer I just wanted to revise and review myself of what I was and what I have become.
So, my engineering college i.e. UVCE has changed the entire perspective of my life starting from what I do, what I want to do, and also what I have to do. But when I think of the name UVCE, I always remember one of my friends suggesting me to choose among other colleges in the city because he was skeptical about what the college broacher was advertising. But now I belive I made a very right choice which I have already mentioned. I know people who, being in this college, condemn the institution for not getting jobs, recognition and also for its poor basic infrastructure. But for me those are just chicken headed people who wasted time on the issues with their crab mentality instead of doing the righteous and garbing what was offered on their path of life. Yes! there are few things in our college which by hook or crook should be there basically by being an engineering college but the system is running on an administration principle which is so obsolete for the present time. But what college has to offer from an academic point of view, UVCE offers everything and thats what one should be concerned about during one's education in an institution where one has to spend a mere amount of   Rs. 18000-19000 an year.
